I think Jane's sentence is too severe. Firstly,everybody can make a mistake; so we should give a chance to them to begain again.
Secondly, she attempted to carry only a small quantity of heroin. It is not a big crime. Thirdly,if she
serves the full term, tax payers must pay a lot of money. It is s waste of money. Furthermore, Jane has two
little children. The children might suffer without mom during their childhood. As a result, Jane's sentence must be reduced.
